  10. Two Workshops on Disaster Awareness with the help of Disaster Awareness Unit of Cotton College held one in T. C. Govt. Girls HS & MP School, Guwahati on 4th November 2009 and another in SRDN Campus of Industrial area of Mangaldoi on 19th November 2009.

  12. Organised a Workshop cum Exhibition on Disaster Management in North East India at District Library, Guwahati in 1994.
  13. Organised a Workshop on Waste to Wealth and Competition on Science Model and Products from Waste Materials one in Cotton College on 27th and 28th February 2004 on the occasion of National Science Day celebration 2004.
  14. Organised a Competition cum Exhibition for school students on Science Model and Products from Waste Materials one in Latasil Primary School on 6th and 7th July 2002 under the banner of Nabin Sarma Smritichora.
  15. Took classes (regularly on Saturday & Sunday) from 1989 to 2006 for downtrodden children on Waste use and creativity skill development org. by Nabin Sarma Smritichora, Guwahati.

Science Popularisation & Awareness Activities

  1. Prepared a Documentary Film on Wetlands of Assam, both in English and Assamese (30 munites duration) as Scriptwriter and Academic Director, sponsored by Assam Science Technology & Environment Council(ASTEC), Guwahati. Telecasted several times by Doordarshan Kendra, Guwahati
  2. Prepared a CD on Earthquake Awareness for free distribution in educational institutions, supported by Assam Science Technology & Environment Council (ASTEC), Guwahati
  3. Designed the exhibits for setting up a Disaster Awareness Unit at Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati
  4. Designed the exhibits for setting up a Disaster Awareness Unit at Cotton College, Guwahati
